Course Contents: 1-Functions: Definition, Types of functions, domain and range of the functions, graph of functions, composite functions, properties of functions, Inverse functions. 2- Limits and Continuity The limit of a function, calculating limits using the limit laws, continuity, limits at Infinity, Horizontal Asymptotes, 3- Derivatives: Derivative and rates of change, derivative as a function, derivatives of polynomials and exponential functions. The product and quotient rules, derivatives of trigonometric functions. The chain rule, implicit differentiation, derivatives of logarithmic functions. 4. Applications of differentiation: Extreme values of functions, the Mean Value Theorem, How Derivatives Affect the Shape of a Graph, L’Hospital’s Rule and Indeterminate Forms.
